which resort??

My wife and i have have been to Desire at river maya 2 times and had a great time both times. after not going for 4 years, (kids and life get in the way) we are going to return. we are late 40's, interesting in soft swing and exhibitionism. my question is which resort is going to be best for us? i would love to try a new spot but we have had a great time before so dont want to jinx it. for those of you that have been to cabo or pearl which would you recommend? thnaks for the insight.

Well, this is like asking whether you should have lobster or filet? LOL! You can't go wrong with either one. We have been to both many times and are booked to hit both this summer again. RM is the original and most frequented for sure but Los Cabos has been fantastic as well. Not sure how busy it will be after the re-opening in May but if that doesn't bother you than I'd say change it up a bit and go to Los Cabos...the price is really attractive right now and coming in from the midwest like we do, you can arrive as early as noon and will have all day to enjoy the resort and people on your first day....

Pearl, as you may know, is very close to RM and if you choose to visit that location than maybe you can split your time at both resorts like some friends of ours that just got back this weekend. They seemed to enjoy both resorts...

Any choice will be a good one I'm sure!

EddieandJoJo...did your friends mention if the Pearl was as "active" as RM? We are staying at Pearl b/c RM rooms were sold out (our price points/days of trip). I know the crowd has alot to do with the PDA/PDS but we're concerned the Pearl may be a lower key. Don't want to be disappointed Any details worth sharing would be great. Thanks!!

We're having dinner soon to discuss the details so I'll have to get back to you on the specifics. They did say that Pearl wasn't quite buttoned up the first couple of days but that it improved 100% each day. Anyway, I'll post an update as soon as we get more detail.

I'll try to convince them to also post a trip report as they are always helpful to ease some anticipation associated with "grand openings".

We just booked Pearl for the end of June b/c RM was booked. Have been to RM 3 times and always loved it. My travel agent assures me we will have a blast at Pearl and that everything is set up just like RM. It will depend on the crowd. Will keep you posted.

We"ll be trying pearl in May because the other resort is booked. It looks super nice and I'm sure they'll be plenty of fun to be had... at least we hope

We are going to try Los Cabos in October over Halloween. Can't wait! Already booked for Oct 27-Nov 3
