Are any facilities in the spa at Desire available to the guests as part of the basic "all inclusive" package? ie: if there's a sauna or a whirlpool, can we just go in and use them any time we want?

The Sauna /Steam rooms are available without charge to all guests - I believe the small Jacuzzi in the spa is as well but just ask at the desk when you arrive to be sure.

I think the small jacuzzi is for the couples massage people only - the package comes with 1 hour in the jacuzzi with a bottle of wine. I have been in that room at times it wasn't booked - they use it as a waiting area for other spa appointment guests (at least they were still doing it as of this past January)

The little jacuzzi in the Spa area is available as an upcharge with one of the two couples massages that are available. One comes with the jacuzzi included but we didn't do that couples massage. We chose the other and added the extra. I think it was around $25 US when we had the couples massage last time and it included a bottle of wine served to you. Nice way to finish and regain your composure after having experienced the sensual couples massage for two. Ha cha cha cha!!!
