Theme Night

My wife and I went to Hidden Beach late December and she loved the dress up theme nights and wore some very sexy wear, including some see through outfits and an amazing pirates getup. She wants to do the same at Cancun Desire but our first and only Desire trip to Cabos the people there really did not get into the theme thing. Most people had a lot of clothes on and nothing special... My wife wants to buy some very sexy and seductive outfits but wondering if other will be doing the same or wearing standard clothes? What's everyones take on the number of people getting into the theme nights?

At Desire Cancun, dressing sexy with pratically nothing and a lot of see-thru stuff is the norm. Theme night or not.
Example: in two weeks (tomorrow) we are expecting that on Tuesday night with the body painter, the only thing she will wear to dinner is a pair of matching shorts. Matching her body paint of course!
Women go big for the theme nights - follow it to a great degree. Some of the guys do it as well - and from what I have read and heard, the guys are joining in more than ever.
By the end of the night, mostly everyone is back to 90% naked anyway.
One exception on the theme nights tends to be with the hard core swingers; they might tend to do their own thing rather than theme it.

AS far as theme nights, I wouldn't say see thru stuff is the "norm". Seductive and sexy, yes (for the ladies), and why not, they are sexy.

90% naked at night? Maybe if you go to the jacuzzi, certainly not in the disco.

Having said that, your wife will not feel out of place in whatever she likes to wear. If she feels good in her outfit, she will look great.

M is dressing sexy, see thru, lace, mesh for all the theme nights. i my self (the guy) will dress in sexy see thru, mesh a few nights and dress pants nice sexy shirt the other nights....this is our first trip to Desire and we want to do and wear things we never would at home...have a great time. only 3 more sleeps till we leave...

Reach, you have the right idea. Desire IS the place where you can wear things that you would not dare to wear at home, and you don't need a cover up to leave the house or get to your destination.

Our philosophy is that at Desire, lingerie and the like is considered dinner wear for her, after dinner we both can be adventurous depending on the theme.

Having been to both Desire Los Cabos (and again once it switched to Temptation) and Desire Cancun, we can tell you that the participation rate for the theme nights in Cancun is much higher. It's more unique to see people not dressed in theme there.

In Los Cabos, very few participated in the theme nights unless you were there with a group.

one of my favorite parts of desire is the theme nights. both myself and my wife dress up in provocative outfits. some are see thru and some are lingerie,,,, what ever your wife feels comfortable in.

All, thanks for the encouraging feedback. Sounds like Cancun is more fun than Cabo.
Reach, hope you have a great time. If you find time when you get back it would be great to get an update on the theme scene.

In Los Cabos, very few participated in the theme nights unless you were there with a group.

Is it any wonder? Look at the stupid theme nights they schedule. A person just can't pack a bunch of extra crap for Cowboy/Cowgirl or Pimp & Ho or whatever it is this special Desire week.

We were at Desire for the Texas Player takeover in July and it seems as the Texas Players had their own themes and Desire had theirs also. Does any know what they will be December 25th to January 1st?

That happens a lot with group take overs. If you go to http://desire.originalresorts.com/special_events.asp special events calendar, it will show you of there are any groups there when you are planning to go as well as any changes in desires themes. It won't list any events or planned themes by the visiting group. The only way to find that out is through the group organizers. Good luck and enjoy. Of put the link in but my blackberry hates me.

We will be there from Nov 26 - Dec 3rd. First trip. There are no special groups listed as being booked for this period of time. Does this mean that the theme nights will be according to the usual nightly entertainment calendar?
