Lobby and hot tub questions

We were there last February just as the new Eden space was opening.They had converted the old lobby bar into a coffee bar. Is this still the case? The wife and I were hoping cocktails would resume. At certain times this means the only available drinks are at the new lobby bar. That kinda sucks.
How about the old rooftop hot tub. Is it and it’s bar Still up and running?

We just got back a few weeks ago. Old lobby bar is still just coffee, and you can't even get to the old hot tub area (the stairs are roped off).

Just got back and it was very hot, in fact the temp stopped a lot of people going up there late afternoon. The air temp was hot so people stayed in the main pool instead. It was busy later at night though as the air cooled.

Question, is the building with the old spa/gym closed? When last there in April (old playroom was still going)the new spa had just opened but the gym was still in the old building.

We had a late flight (5pm) at left our main bags at the front after checkout, but to shower and hold our change of clothes later in the afternoon, we were told at the new spa, to use the old spa change rooms. Needless to say it was in disrepair, lockers with few locks, smelly, cramped, no AC, and just not great.
Pearl we were able to use the spa without issue to shower and change.

Hoping that when we go back in October, we are allowed in the new spa at Maya to be able freshen up, or, I'll push for a later checkout, as again we have an early evening flight home (7pm).

we used the old spa area at the end of July when we left late and they were ok. Clean, plenty of towels and shower gel etc They were mixed but perfectly adequate. Not quite up to Pearl standards but ok.

Ok thanks. It wasn't at all anywhere near the level Pearl Spa, not even close.

I assumed it was on its last legs overall and some neglect was setting in, because as mentioned, the new playroom and other things were in the process of opening up.

Not sure why they can't direct people to the new spa for freshening up.

Will see what October brings but I think I'll be pushing for a later checkout even if it costs a few $.

We just got back on Sunday. The new spa is fully open, old one closed. The only old facility still open is the gym. The old lobby will be the new gym but it is not ready yet.

Thanks. Wondering though if you have to check out before your flight, if you can refresh in the new spa or still change room at the old space, as we did in April. Back in about 6 weeks so guess will find out.

Also, what is up in the old playroom, anything?
