good fit for 62 year olds celebrating retirement?

Postby Belinda&Lenny » Sun May 12, 2024 11:24 pm

Thinking of visiting for a few nights to liberate and rekindle our 36 year marriage and celebrate my husbands retirement... but a little worried we may be the oldest peeps at the resort!
I know several of you have frequented this resort so wondering what percentage might be over 55 or so?
Tips for newbies are always welcome

Not a chance you will be the oldest, and age doesn’t matter anyway.

We hae meet couples in their 70s there. As it was said age doesn't doesn't matter to most people.

Prefaced with age doesn’t matter.. wife and I estimated the median age to be about 50 on our recent trip (on which we celebrated our 38th anniversary and my retirement last year) so go for it.

On our last visit to Pearl, there were a few silver-haired couples that were the life of the party. We (husband and I, in our 50s) could not keep up with them. They danced, they played, they were a hoot. I'm guessing they were in their mid-60's to 70's.

Yes, this was Pearl, but I would imagine the same is true at RM

As many have said, age is just a number. Just bring your sexy selves and enjoy the ride.

Just do it, dammit!
You're going to have to make up for getting a late start on it!

Just go and have a ball. If anyone asks your age just tell them that it is a unlisted number and that you are old enought to know better but young enough not to give a rats a**.

If it helps, try stating your age on the Celcius scale. I feel much younger saying I'm 21 vs reality.

Or you could use Jack Bennys answer that he is 39. He just not telling that he had been saying that for years.
