suitcase vs. carry on

nov. Wil be our 5th. Trip. Carry on is the best. Disco dresses are just not that much space to take up. Other than that what do you need?

Agree with Sharon and David completely! We really dislike waiting at the carousel for our luggage and have learned that all we really need is carry on. That way, we are off the plane, through Customs and into our transport to the resort in no time flat!

I never feel like I wish I had brought more 'stuff'.

scorpiocpl should chime in on this one. I think they had about 4 suitcases!!! LOL
My wife and I had one each. We will pack differently this year but will still be one each most likely

So, there. It just goes to show that either carry on or checked luggage is all good. It all depends on how you want to travel.

Whatever works for you! Just go and enjoy the Desire experience what ever way you want.

I should add that we go at Halloween and costumes tend to take a "bit" more space. But all is good.

Pros and Cons to both I guess. For us with our group, we need that extra space of a check-in for the items we bring down for the group members.

Really though, we find it adds only about 20ish min to getting out of CUN airport, that is, waiting at the carousel. We use part of that waiting time though to buy a few bottles of 43, etc. As some of you know there is a store just in that area.

Only once in the years did our bags collect more..air miles..then we did, if you know what I mean. We did get our bags back in about 30 hours though.

Regardless, just have easy access to what you need at the resort for the first part of the day. That is if you arrive early as your room may not be ready.
