Pool Floats

10 trips to Desire and the only pool floats we have seen are the ones left behind by previous guests or the blow up ones we bring ourselves (and leave behind). Have never seen the ones you are describing at the resort.

Don't know about the shipping, could be very expensive. However, when planning a vacation in paradise it may not matter.

Have a great trip.

We usually pack a few of the collapsible floats and leave them at the resort when we leave. very low cost at the end of the season here in the states; usually $5 or so. The ones I'm talking about are the ones that you twist and flip to fold into a small carrying case. One blow up tube runs around the perimeter. They work well in the pool but not so much in the ocean. If you look behind the boat shed, that is where they are stacked up at night and you can just grab one. Last week, there were probably 10 floats and most were not used.

You may get a big surprise when you find out how much it will cost- and you'll want to ship them very early. Packages tend to lie around in Mexican customs a long time. In fact- it's not unusual for things to get "lost" altogether.
