Curious.....what was the evening attire for the Foam Party? We will be there in less than two weeks and want to know if we need to make any last minute purchases for the evening event. Smiles already packed!

We attended the Foam Party on Tuesday Night and we thought it was a blast. We missed some of the hired dancing that was at the beginning, but we saw most of it.

Like was mentioned it was up on the roof where the hot tub is. They had the machine on the lower level where the beds and bathrooms are. They screened/walled off the covered area in front of the bathrooms, this is the covered area where the couches are and where the towels used to be and where one of the cubbies are to put your stuff. They had the DJ booth in this area but you could not see it because the wall was in the way, but you had to walk around the wall and by the DJ booth to get to the bathrooms. It was walled off almost to the bar. They did not move the play beds, but did move the highs tables and chairs this created a dance area where they could put the foam in. The foam machine looked something like this http://www.partymachines.com/foam-machi ... -for-clubs and was against the temporary wall.

The foam would bubble/boil out the the silver bag and you could stand underneath it if you wanted. It filled most of the dance area up to about knee height (or more, sometimes waist) with it tapering off in height to the play beds. It made it to the stairs heading down and the wall that has the shower above it. Most people wore swim suits or nothing at all and most of the swim suits came off anyway, Angela wore a latex dress that was night but halfway through she ended up taking that off. No matter what you wore it would get all wet when you were under the foam machine or from the foam you were dancing in. What was really nice is you would go under the foam get all slippery then dance very close to whoever and rub on them and your bodies would slide. Char was on the ground pushing off and sliding like on a slip and slide. Angela ended up sliding up and down someone else's lap who was sitting down and the foam was rolling over the two of them, her ass is still bruised/sore from the hard floor.

The hired dancers stayed and danced so they were fun to see dancing also, although they did not take any of their clothes off, but Angela liked watching the buff (most likely gay) dudes dancing in the foam. Then four (2 girls 2 boys) of them would get in the shower and dance sexy together.

The other guy was right it was a little windy that night and occasionally a gust would pick the foam up and blow some around. Also because you were wet from the foam the wind made you a cool if you stopped dancing. It was a little slippery, but not too bad if you were careful, neither of us slipped or lost our balance, but we did see someone in the hot tub later with a bag of ice on his head and heard of people catching themselves trying to walk down the stairs.

We thought the idea was awesome and wished that they had two foam machines, the other one over by the play beds so they would be making it from two directions. And what to wear? Mostly nothing, but a bathing suit or something fun like Angela's latex dress, maybe vinyl? Oh yea there were a bunch of people dancing but we would guess an equal number were in the hot tub watching the people dance in the foam.

We hope they keep the foam party and modify it so there is more foam!

Good News - in fact AWESOME is more the word. We were there this past Tues, May 14th. The foam party was off the hook. The entertainment was a little long for our liking but the last couple of acts were great and a must see. Cesar brought in two foam machines and about 3 times the gallons of liquid from prior weeks. We were there for about 3 hours dancing, playing and just having a riot in the foam. The foam got so high at some points even the 6' plus guys were over their heads in foam. Foam clouds were blowing into the night. People were dancing on the beds and you could barely see their faces.

Some tips - don't wear anything that can't get soaked. Girls a thong works just fine, watch the jewelry, after an hour in the foam they start to slip - I had to be mindful of my rings - they will be in the safe next time. If staff doesn't take care of it put down towels on the way to the restrooms and in them and behind the bar. Believe it or not those are the only places that get slippery, which was our concern. Also for the girls, your hair is going to get wet, real wet but it's not a bad thing! Also wear waterproof makeup if you have it. If you are claustrophobic, stay toward the hot tub - its easy to escape but all you have to do is "dog paddle" in front of your face to get air

We were very skeptical about the party but we are so glad we are going back soon. Can't wait for the next one. If you are going to RM - don't miss it!! It really is AWESOME. Best party ever!!!!!!!

The foam party sounds like a heck of a lot of fun!! Can't wait. Now we just have to book the trip - any day now.

Just to address the previous queries about dress code for men - we travel with carry-ons only and have always had more than enough clothing to wear something different every night of the week. Really, who cares if the men just bring one pair of lightweight long pants and wear them every night to dinner? We have often over-packed, having some clothes that we haven't worn in the week.

I started with my long linen pants and no shirt. They got soaked right away, so I took them off. I saw shorts and swim suits, but in the end most men were nude. The sensation of rubbing your naked slippery body against another person's (think female here ) body was extremely erotic and fun, Angela also preferred dancing with the men who were nude.

Also we were talking this weekend, 2 machines and the foam being 6' tall sounds awesome, we hope they are still doing it when we go back.

I don't think it will happen at Pearl, there really isn't a contained area that can have the amount of liquid they use on it. That's why they use the rooftop Jacuzzi area at RM. Also, I don't think it will go into the winter. 65 degrees wet and naked doesn't make it. The foam really does cool you down, it was hot this last week and just right temperature wise.

So looking forward to the foam party. They didn't have this theme when we were there this past January. Sounds like a blast and cant wait to experience our first foam party. Cant think of a better place for our first foam party than at Desire!!!
