Desire Riviera Maya Trip Report

16-20 April 2025

Summary
Great time! Enjoyed seeing my sexy love in sheer clothing or naked in pool. Enjoyable atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere.

Transfers and Checking
Used USA Transfers from Desire website. A little trouble finding the right folks after exiting the airport, but once we found them only waited about 5 minutes to get our vehicle assigned. Nice big SUV for a comfortable ride. Drive to resort is not very scenic and the roads can be bumpy once turned into the resort area and on dirt road. Security into the resort was good, with them checking names against reservations. Armed security was present at entry road into resort area.

Rooms
We opted for Heavenly Room with Garden View. Quite small with limited storage options and no table. Would opt for something nicer in the future though to be fair we did not spend much time in the room except for sleeping and changing into the next outfit. Somehow our TV remote went missing halfway through the trip. We suspected it was carried off amidst a bed sheet change. We reported to our butler and front desk but this was never resolved which was a bit disappointing. There are controls on bottom of tv to switch channels, but not intuitive. Didn’t really watch TV but was nice to turn on in mornings while getting ready for the day.

Staff
In all the playmakers were friendly and interacted well with the guest. The old-timers seemed much more comfortable with guest interaction. My sweetie did make a connection with newcomer Leyda and enjoyed seeing her perform throughout the week. Leyda also dragged my wife into a number of provocative events which was fun to watch. Maurizo was also new and very young to the point it almost seemed criminal to watch him strut his stuff in front of the crowd, but the women did seem to enjoy watching him.

Restaurants
We enjoyed the buffet at Tentazione the best with lunch there becoming our go-to but the Mexican buffet on Friday was fabulous with an amazing taco stand, amazing salsa and other yummy options. Not normally a fan of buffets, but I would eat here every day for lunch and dinner next time. Dinner at Sahlo on Saturday was fine, though not exceptional. Had dinner at Mexican place on Thursday which was okay, but still not as good as the Tentazione buffet in my opinion.

Pool time
Eden Pool: This is where all the action is to include music, games, shows, etc. Swim-up bar was great but got crowded in afternoon so was often easier to drag your naked self out of pool and go up to stand-up bar for quicker service. This pool was a bit murky which I don’t want to think to much about…
Quiet Pool: On the older side of the resort. No loud music and a much more chill vibe. Also had much more comfortable loungers surrounding the pool with nice soft cushions as well as numerous daybeds. Water was clear and beautiful unlike the Eden pool. Only a few couples here during the day. No activities for sensual activities that we observed but we only spent about an hour here the entire trip. The swim-up bar appeared to be closed here, but the walk-up bar was open. Also a lot easier to get a daybed for morning chillax time at this pool. I would recommend spending an hour or two here in morning, then move to Eden pool for play time.

Nightly Shows and Theme Night
Nearly everyone dressed up each night to some extent. Lots of fun seeing all the costumes. Best show was on Animal night with a stripper and silks show. I got pulled into getting a lap dance in front of the entire crowd which was a bit awkward for me since I was wearing super skimpy tight animal print shorts. Latin night/Tropical night was the least enjoyable as we are not that into latin music and the entertainment was not as engaging as other nights. White night was also fun with lots of sexy white lingerie costumes.

Disco
If you like to dance in sexy clothes, disco is for you after the nightly performance. Pretty small dance floor, but there is also a stripper pole that got used by some very talented guests and the bench seating around the playroom seemed to be a favorite location to get a little action.

Play Room
The playroom consisted of 7 or 8 queen sized beds separated by chain link curtains. At end of room is a sex chair useful for “riding” one’s partner. Room got busier toward end of night. Walked in pretty late one night and every bed was filled by one or more couples and a line had formed down the middle of the room waiting for something we were not sure of. We had sex a couple times in play room. Was enjoyable knowing we were being watched….

Jacuzzi
Upstairs from lobby, quite large. Utilized primarily in afternoon before dinner and after nightly performance and disco (1630-1830 and 2330-?). Big enough you have to make effort to interact. When busy there was difficulty finding seating around the edge. Daybeds on terrace with jacuzzi saw lots of action as well. Had sex twice on the daybeds and got a blowjob sitting on the edge of the jacuzzi.

Recommendations for next time:
Get pool towel clips to preserve your pool loungers.
Unless you have an aversion to making dinner reservations yourself (and/or using the buffet) then skip the extra cost of a butler. Didn’t too too much for us.
Clothes- We packed way too many pants, regular clothes, shirts, etc. Concentrate efforts on sexy clothes, theme night sexy outfits especially for her, and some toy enhancements.

Massage- A life experience that we did, but not sure we did it again. Was awkward seeing the two masseuses around the resort after that experience.
Length of time-5 days total with 3 full days at resort was a good amount of time. Could have used one more, but more than that would need some excursions elsewhere to not get bored.
Nudity- Most women were topless, maybe 1/4 were naked and about 50% of men were naked with a surprisingly number wearing the dreaded boardshorts. The naked ratio did increase as the day progressed. By the nighttime in jacuzzi most were completely naked. Nobody really cared what you wore regardless, and I’m not sure why someone would pay so much money to come to this resort and wear boardshorts or a full bikini all day, every day. This is the place to wear your sexiest, most revealing clothing.

Swinger activity- As a couple not part of the lifestyle crowd, we were a bit amazed by the number of “signals” that are present for those in the lifestyle. These consisted of necklaces with names, mugs with names, pineapple clothing, etc. It certainly made it easy to determine who was in the lifestyle group. If there was no visible indication it seemed pretty evident after a quick conversation whether the couple was in the lifestyle or not. We got hit up on occasion and it was pretty obvious we were not in that group and folks seemed to move on which is understandable. Probably would be good to make more of an effort to be social but we were a bit nervous of being labeled as swingers.
Playroom- Really enjoyed going into playroom and having sex with girlfriend after some sexy dancing after disco. Did get a bit awkward when night got late and playroom got really full. Entered one night and there were multiple couples on each bed and a line forming in the middle of room for who knows what. That kind of scared us and we went back outside to the daybeds by jacuzzi. Also wish the jarring music of disco was somehow muted when the playroom door was opened. Tended to interrupt my mojo while things were happening.

Lifestyle crowd was pretty easy to spot with the beaded necklaces with their name and the pineapple decorations everywhere. As fresh meat (newbies) we were approached a couple times but no one was disrespectful or pushy. All in all a very respectful and accepting crowd.

Take cash for tipping, also can get money changed into smaller bills at lobby. We got pesos, but most people tipped in dollars

Take toys to the daybed by jacuzzi to make girlfriend cum quickly

Bring a couple bottles of bourbon for the room, choices at bar are limited.
