We had a great time at Desire Resort Pearl celebrating our anniversary. We only got to stay 4 days & 3 nights, but it was a great time to relax, eat great food, enjoy fun cocktails, and enjoy all the activities. The staff was amazing and always willing to help. From the bartenders, wait staff, spa specialists, bellhops, to the concierge, all did a fantastic job. The beach and water were amazing. The pool was clean and a lot of fun on the active side and very relaxing on the quiet side.

LIFESTYLE: This was our first time going to a ‘lifestyle’ resort. We are not in the lifestyle, but have gone to a few clubs in the past. We enjoyed the freedom to be clothing-optional, to flirt with each other, and to be sexy with each other w/o anyone getting offended or gawking.

PHOTOGRAPHY: We hired the Provoke Photographers to do a couple’s boudoir shoot. The photographer was friendly and professional. He was willing to shoot photos from sexy to erotic, but we had told him we probably wouldn’t be doing anything erotic. After the first outfit changes and both getting naked, one thing led to another and we felt at ease to do some erotic poses. After that exhilarating time, we went out to the beach to shoot some sexy photos there as well. The photos came out gorgeously, and it was so hard to leave some photos behind. In the end, we were very pleased with the experience and we did end up purchasing some of the erotic photos. Recommendation: Contact the photographer before you pack. We brought several outfits, but he didn’t really like them and asked if we had other things instead. Thankfully, we were able to find items he had in mind for the photos, but it would have been simpler to know what to bring instead of scrambling on the spot.

SPA: We enjoyed the erotic couples massage. We never did anything like this before, so we didn’t truly know what to expect. The spa staff were professional as they massaged, touched, and teased each of us fully. We expected the ‘happy ending’ to be with the masseuse, but instead, they maneuvered us so we’d enjoy the ‘ending’ together with a little of their help. Afterwards, we got the room to ourselves to enjoy the deep jacuzzi tub, champagne, and strawberries for intimate alone time. After we left, we were relaxed and satisfied. It was a great experience and memories.

The only negative thing was the tequila tasting coordination. We told the concierge that we were interested in going off-resort to get a tequila tasting. They said they could do it, so we agreed to stay on-resort. However, after a couple of time and date changes, they couldn’t find the expert to provide the service. To keep the tasting going, they sent the wine sommelier to host the event. He did his best, but obviously he knows wines, not tequila. They tried, but the event missed the mark for us.

Otherwise, we had a great time and made intense, wonderful memories. We look forward to the next time we have the opportunity to try something like this again!
