Does anyone do excursions? Does Pearl concierge help arrange things like that? We'll be there for 8 days in December (14-21) and we want to do a couple of things - Boobs Cruise to Isla Mujeres, and to visit a cenote. Anyone have any luck with things like this? Is it worth it?
Thanks! See you in December!

Last year there was a woman selling packages around the pool. It was fantastic. The 4 in our group had a private van with driver and a separate tour guide for 3 events/locations. We went to (1) Tulum, (2) snorkeling with sea turtles, stingrays and other sea life and (3) dove a cenote. Also had lunch at an authentic Mayan restaurant in the jungle after the cenotes. Amazing time, pricey but worth it. Plan on a whole day if you choose to do it. We have been to Pearl 15+ times so look to do an offsite adventure occasionally.
Side note , the mosquitos in the jungle where the cenote was are at a different level!!! Seemed like they were pepper spots all over your body. It was crazy!!!

there is a small guest house in Peurto Morales called 'Layla' ran by an American guy, we stayed there before visiting pearl last year and he runs a private tour to a private cenote, just four of you maximum. It was a massive place with hardly anyone there, we had it to ourselves, it was wonderful to snorkel and see the stalactites and stalacmites and jump in from the rocks. On the way you visit a woodcutters yard and he then takes you into the jungle to show you the wildlife and fauna. After the cenote he takes you to a small Mayan household where you help cook the food with a mayan family. It was a fantastic day out and was well away from the crowds. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows the history and culture. Best trip we've had, its a full day but well worth it.

That's awesome, too - thank you for sharing! My wife is especially excited to do an excursion like this while we're there. Thanks again for all of the input!
