As I mentioned before the new disco and playroom are nicely done. A few finishing touches were completed when we were there and a new dance floor with poles is on the way. We spent most nights dancing - the music was actually pretty good - the DJ kept the dance area packed most of the time.
The daytime entertaiment at the pool has moved up a notch with some acrobatic performances that would be likened to Cirque de Soliel.
The pool temp was variable from low 90's to mid to low 80's - must be an on/off switch for pool temp as opposed to a thermostat. When people complained about the cold water it would start to warm within a few hours.
Reliable sources have also informed me that Desire has aquired a permit to rebuid the pier and that this work will be undertaken soon.
Weather was great every day, spent an hour or so every morning sailing.
As usual the food was great, the service outstanding. The staff treated Diane like a Queen and I was the ultimate beneficiary of this treatment.
In conclusion we had a blast and are in the planning stages of trip #12 in late July or August.
