SO Much Fun! Aug 2025

Just back from our maiden visit to DRM, Aug 6-11. We approached our first trip there on my 43rd birthday with as few expectations as possible, feeling supported by the reports in this forum, and that worked great for helping us have an outstanding experience. We were the couple in the gym daily, tearing up the dance floor at night, and constantly laughing. We had SO MUCH FUN!

Highlights:
1. Chill Vibes + Freedom -From the moment we arrived and throughout our 5 days, we indulged in the shared chill nature of this place. Intoxicating and glorious, when you have an open, nonjudgmental perspective.
2. Dance Floor at the night club -Maintaining the theme of chill and free, but adding lights, music, and movement, the nightclub dance floor was soooooo lit. The outfits and sexy designs people brought further enhanced the experience. So sexy. We wish we went there every night but missed the first few days due to being tired after the days' fun. We would suggest more hiphop if they took requests...
3. Weather -Perfect everyday, even when there was a bit of rain. We appreciated some cloud coverage a couple times because we didn't need more sun protection, but everyday was mostly around 32℃ clear skies and sunshine with no wind.
4. Gym -We enjoyed the gym everyday. It was cool, clean, and a great way to start the day. The cafe service just outside was an added bonus, of course with top notch quality service.
5. Playmakers & Other Staff -They were extremely polite and had great energy. We couldn’t ask for more, including from the housekeeping staff. We enjoyed many events, such as beach volleyball and evening dance shows.
6. Restaurants -Shout-out to the chefs and restaurant staff! One of us is Celiac, so we had to consult with them multiple times each day to be informed of safe food selections. Thankfully, we were well-informed and everything went great.
7. Beach -Okay, not a spectacular beach, it's true, but the resort does well with what they have. There's a swimming area blocked-off from all the seaweed and it's still an ocean view.
8. Exhibitionism -We saw a lot. Sex on the beach in the cabanas and in the water, BJs on balconies facing the pool and in the pool, all kinds of sex and bondage play at the jacuzzi, and more. It contributed well to the chill vibes and freedom experience.
9. Eye Candy -We were both enamoured by some very beautiful breasts and coochie on display, fit, muscular men and women, and creative use of clothing/swimwear designs & jewelry. Beautiful. We both felt like having some small pieces of clothing/jewelry enhanced the nudity as compared to plain full nude.
10. Lifestyle or not? We are not in the LS and we sometimes felt that people were standoff-ish because of trying to gauge intentions, which is understandable but made it hard to find people to just hang-out with and have good conversations. We thought the bracelets should explain that, but in reality, they didn’t. Although it’s quite possible that we were not fully informed yet.
11. Pool Music -When it was Spanish or upbeat music, it was great. Random set switches to heavy metal, country music, and top 40 pop was common though. We were wishing there was a running request list, which then we could understand that others ‘want’ this music. Sometimes we would bring our own music on a speaker instead, but it’s not quite the same and we worried about bothering others.

It was a big ego-boosting experience, as everyone is literally so nice and constantly dolling-out complements. We were feeling the love! Next trip we want to make sure to do two things that we missed-out on this time: photography session and getting comfortable enough to take our bottoms off (at least at the beach). People who were there when we were averaged around 40-50 years and generally looked like they’re in great shape. What a wonderful community. We're definitely coming back to paradise when we can!

Great review. I feel people making these reports really help the community especially first timers. I know we researched this forum a lot prior to our first visit and these trip reports really helped us. We were at the resort the same time you guys were. I felt a bit change to previous trips as regards to the average age being lower and less nudity.
