Is the no shorts policy enforced at all restaurants for dinner or only at certain ones? What is the policy regarding sandals for dinner with long dress pants?

To the best of our knowledge(And i have been known to be wrong before!) , Long Pants are REQUIRED only at the "White Restaurant" (Il Piacere) and at Suki (The japanese). The buffet is more casual.
As for the sandals, I suppose that depends on the actual pair, but I will offer this advice...... make sure that whatever you wear is complimentary to the outfit that your wife/girlfriend may be wearing. We noticed last time we were there that many men didnt look like like they "belonged" with there S.O.

In short, if our ladies are putting in the effort to look AMAZING (and they usually do!) the least we, as guys, can do is make sure we "step it up" a notch, so they are not actually embarrased to be seen with us. LOL

tout.prest is correct in that long pants (for guys) are required(mandatory) in both the restaurants mentioned.

I have always ever worn dress leather sandals and have never been questioned in 15 trips - on the other hand beach style flip flops are a big no for sure
