Me and my husband are both into working out. Tried to find pics of the gym there and was unable to locate any. Do they have a nice facility? Also he mentioned we might have to bring a float from home. Do they have floats available?

Here's a link to picture of the gym at Desire

Floats are not provided, but there are usually some left around from previous guests who have left them for others to enjoy

Hi Work out nuts 8) My husband and I are also exercise types. We were at Desire early Sept. 08, our 5th trip. The gym equipment is OK. The treadmills are not the best for running at a decent pace. The weight machines not high end and the bike is average. Also, there is a need for fans which I have requested over the years. Yet, overall, it is satisfactory to get some exercise. I do hope it will be upgraded with better AC and fans. What I typically do is put the treadmill at a high incline and use the hand weights at the same time.

ditto what Darcy said.,.

The gym is adequate to get some exercise. We have good intentions each trip to Desire and seem to only make it to the gym about one time per visit!

hey susan this is joe not the wife. not sure what you wanted so i will post both. the wife works out at curves which is only for women. they do a caridio-and light strength training routine. which works. im a former fighter so my routine is a liitle more on the hardcore side. i do cardio<when> and a mix of high weight with high repitition. but if i had to narrow it down the cardio is the most important thing with proper diet being a close second. its hard to really tell anyone what to do without seeing that person but anything is better than sitting on the couch. we also support each other and that goes a long way in keeping motivated. i hope this helps

susan - just a FYI - the gym at Desire is not staffed. They don't have any trainers in the gym and how you workout is completely up to you.

Just bust it out the weeks before and take the week off,you need to rest your body, when you get back you will be stronger for it.

Does Desire have a gym/work out center, YES! Is it the best gym you'll ever attend, NO! But, it certainly has everything you need to get in a good, quick workout before enjoying your very sexy day! I usually get in 3 or 4 workouts over a 6 day trip......first thing in the morning before going to breakfast and I'm energized to take on the "activities" of the day.

As for cardio, my advice would be to forgo the treadmill and either take a nice little jog on the beach, go for a swim in the ocean or just do some laps in the pool. You'll do plenty of walking on the property and you can walk/jog up and down the stairs to the hot tub. AND of course my favorite, get plenty of cardio in the late afternoon up in the hot tub area!!!

Point is, don't go to Desire and focus on working out, go and enjoy the erotic atmosphere that is has to offer!
