When we were at RM this January, they had moved breakfast out of the buffet restaurant and were serving it out by the pool every morning. For anyone who has been there recently, were they still serving breakfast outside or did they move it back indoors into the buffet area?

In May it was indoors and with all of the rain they have been getting I would assume it is indoors.

whoneedssunscreen,
We were there in January and loved breakfast al fresco! In May early June it was all back in the buffet. We think it would be nice to have breakfast outside all of the time but it seems to be more work intensive for the staff, grill wasn't hot enough for pancakes, etc.

BTW, it was during the de-construction of the huge step - step down at the door into the buffet that moved us outside. Interesting that after a huge torrent of rain in early June they have put in another step up - step down obstacle at the doorway... it is much smaller than the one removed in January, however. One night it was so wet in the buffet that wait staff was slipping and sliding and there were towels and buckets to contain as much of the rain as possible. A waiter said the thatch would need to be fixed to keep the rain out. Water was actually dripping out of the light fixtures near the wall by the kitchen doors. This was the heaviest rain we have experienced at Desire.
