Claudia appointment

We are scheduling an appointment with Claudia, based on all of your great reviews. Our question is about the trip away from the resort to her place. What's the average taxi cost? What about the issue of safety, we've heard not to venture from the resort?

No issues in the area about safety. Current posted taxi rates from Desire RM to Puerto Morelos (although her studio is not actually right in the town) is 250 pesos each way ( 250 peso is about $25 USD, at least the way taxis calculate currency conversion )

Yes they will take US. When we went to Claudia told the taxi driver what time to come back. When we were done the taxi was waiting for us and took us right back. I actually don't think he made us pay for the first trip, we paid for both we he took us back to desire.

With the current USD to MXN peso conversion running at about $1 = 13 pesos - for a 500 peso round trip by taxi you will save about $10 USD by using pesos rather than USD - your choice of course......

Can you set up an appointment with Claudia through the resort after you check in or do they not do that because she is off site?

Claudia is not affiliated with Desire (Desire has it's own spa and massage services) - you book directly with her via her email addy posted above in this thread - it's always advisable to book Claudia in advance(no deposit required)
