First Timer Questions:

1. Do you need reservations at any of the restaurants, I have read conflicting info. If required; should you make these at check in?

2. Arriving around 1:00 is early check-in usually available?

3. Going with the lesser expensive room; are there any Room Numbers that are notoriously bad?

4. Are tips expected or only for special request service?

5. Any secret tips from Desire Veterans that would make a newbie trip more memorable?

First Timer Questions:

1. Do you need reservations at any of the restaurants, I have read conflicting info. If required; should you make these at check in?

None of the restaurants require reservations, however the seats at the Teppanyaki tables at the back of the Suki restaurant do need to be reserved in advance because seating is very limited.

2. Arriving around 1:00 is early check-in usually available?

You can check in pretty much anytime but rooms are not generally assigned until around 3pm, no problem though just enjoy the resort until your room is ready

3. Going with the lesser expensive room; are there any Room Numbers that are notoriously bad?

Personally I don't think there are any "bad" rooms, others may chime in with their opinions

4. Are tips expected or only for special request service?

Tips are not required or expected, however most of us do tip because of the outstanding service by all the staff there.

5. Any secret tips from Desire Veterans that would make a newbie trip more memorable?

No secrets, just be yourselves, be open and talk to everyone, and stretch your boundaries if the mood strikes you
