We leave in one month, really worried about the bloody Marys though. Typical poor mexican type or are they decent? Can not imagine vacation with out them. I can live with spicy v8 and salsa. but question is do I stop on the way and stock up on mix?

Also I assume they have lemonade and oj? tequila and lemonade with a splash of oj ooh so good.

thanks

I personally think the Bloody Marys are fantastic! Very unlike what you get in the states...they use some type of black liquid, never really asked what it was, :? but they were yummy!!!

When do you arrive? We will be there from the 6th thru the 11th of Oct. Maybe we can try one together

I had a couple on my trip. They are fine and do the job. Could use some horseradish, but meh. You could always ask the bartender to add whatever flavouring suits your fancy. As for the black liquid, I think it's worchestershire sauce, which most use in bloody mary's.

We love Bloody Marys and have been up and down the east coast to find the best one, btw, kennebunk port has it so far.

As far as the worchestershire sauce, that is not the black liquid I am talking about, it may be some kind of clam juice or something. I guess we will find out soon enough.

See you there king41. Btw, we have a meet and greet going on up at the hot tub around 5:30 or so for a bunch of us on a yahoo October site. Keep it in mind, if you are there by noon, 5:30 at the hot tub sounds about right, lol!!!

the secret black liquid ingredient added in the bloody mary's that looks like worchestershire is called Jugo Sazonador by Maggi which is owned by Nestle and comes in a 100 ml bottle with yellow label and cap. The Desire bloody mary is extemely good and very habit forming. But then again, what can you think of about Desire that isn't habit forming?

You got it...That must be what it is. Do I know they are habit forming...on my last day there after about 3 hours sleep, I started with one of those and....let's just say I felt great for that day AND night, but I certainly paid for it the next day!!!

Lesson...take it easy....slow and steady...or you will miss all the fun :)
