We are going to arrive June 6-9. I would agree with everyone that suggested that even one night at Desire is worth it. This will be our 3rd year in a row and will probably keep going until we are too old.

Thanks to all who replied in this thread and offered advice. We've ignored some and heeded others! We'll definitely let the board know which was best when we return.

We are booked for two nights and hoping for a third on June 9th. As we said in our initial post, it'll be our first trip to Desire and we knew it'd be a quickie, regardless. We're taking the approach that it's our tune up to our 40th birthdays in 18 months and if we're up for another visit, Desire could be our destination for a good long stay then.

Anyway.. 2 nights or 3.. we're ready for a helluva fun time together!

I came across this thread late but totally agree with your planned course of action. You will love it and its plenty enough time to get a taste of the Desire experience.
Just so happens we will be there during your stay (trip #11 woohoo!) and would be happy to answer any questions you have etc. You will find us at the pool on the big round palapa feel free to come introduce yourselves, we aren't hard to spot I'm very blonde and he's very bald LOL!
