Postby DoubleTrouble » Thu Oct 14, 2010 10:48 am

Our group is heading to Desire next week....YAY!!
There are about 8 of us that all want to have dinner together that first night......which restaurant do you think will be able or willing to accomadate all 8 of us sitting together? Any suggestions- other than the buffet restaurant?

Go to the Il Paciere ( white ) restaurant and ask for the back table. I have walked in a couple of times with out much notice and asked them if they could set the back table for eight people. With a big smile on my face and with a fun group of people wanting to sit together, the staff was always very helpful. We always give a good tip at the end of the meal to thank them. And the stories....... !

"it's all good, we'll see you up in the hot tub!"

As Don said, the back table is great at the white restaurant.

If you havent been before, Suki has a long table right up the middle, that goes half the length of the restaurant. It would be very easy to accomodate a group of 8 at that table....or see if you can book the tepenyaki grill at the back of Suki as well. Normally, its good for 6 , but Manuel will work with you i'm sure.

Have fun,

Steve

The Japanese restaurant actually has a permanently set up table for 8 (or 10 or 12?). It's a long table with face to face seeting on each of the sides. Always seems to be filled with fun groups. On the other hand, if you are a couple get there before the groups. Service is great, but once the big table is filled things slow down :)

The Japanese restaurant is fine but the round table in the white restaurant is much more conducive to fun and conversations!

I agree with Sharon and David. Would the buffet restaurant put tables together to accommodate?

The round table to the right of the buffet entrance can accommodate 8 or yes, they can put together a group of square tables to fit 8
