Protecting Anonymity

On one Desire visit we met a couple from Idaho and they grew potatoes on their farm so to us they became the potatoe couple and they lauged at the nick mame. But to be honest any thing but first names and area that they live in is TMI.

Best thing to say if you meet someone you know from home while you’re at desire might be, “ HI pervert!”

Just kidding.
On umteenth visit to DRM, upon arriving the first day and heading to the foam party, I looked to my wife and said: “OMG! Carrie is here!” (Name changed to protect her although she wouldn’t care.) That’s right, close enough friends of my Southern Baptist family for decades. The sister of one of my best friends while growing up.

“What do you say when you bump into someone from home at Desire?” Without a blink she replied, “IDK! I’ve never had to worry about it until now!”

We’ve made many more return trips with them since that experience. (See you guys in in December!)

We will be newbies to Desire RM in the middle of August. We have been to Temptation a few times. We keep this very quiet and would never share this with our friends nor family. We are well respected in our small community and would rather die than anyone know that we frequent in these places.
We have really enjoyed ourselves at Temptation and have dabbled a little bit, but we are not members of LS but interested in a soft swap or parallel play for sure.
We have struggled with revealing who we are when we meet people at these places. We struggle with telling people what our professions are and what our names are. Is this silly? Everyone that we have met has been very kind and open. I guess I just worry about someone trying to look us up or reach us in our home life. Anyone else struggle with this? And if so, how do you handle it?
I would like to be authentic in meeting new friends, but I’m also very concerned with protecting our selves.

It is a normal fear that people often have when they are new. But it is almost always a needless one.

We had many of the same "needless" fears. I still remember the first time we went to Desire we had a layover in Mexico City. As we sat at the Cancun gate I literally thought every single couple there was going to Desire. Or could be. Or did they know I was? Never mind the statistical chance of that. Never mind there are literally thousands of other resorts within two hours of the Cancun airport. I was the star of this show and surely everyone knew where we were going. Haha

Have your irrational fears.....and then go and enjoy yourself. Trip after trip they will slowly fade away. And soon enough you will be sitting at the gate headed to Cancun trying to talk other hot couples into changing their hotel plans.

As I have mentioned before while seating at the gate waiting to board the aircraft I would look around woundering if anyone else was heading to Desire like us.
